What is the usecase of login module in newspaper

Hi,

I see Newspaper theme has login module where a visitor can create profile. But I want to understand that by creating a user profile what extra feature my visitor will get or what extra feature I can offer to him by this newspaper theme.

Basically just want to understand what can be the possible usecase I can do with newspaper theme once a user creates a profile with it.
