Wouldn’t it be nice if Newspaper had a share button for WhatsApp on mobile devices?

Thanks for your suggestion. I will add this on out feature requests list and we will consider it for future updates but we have to be very carefully though what we chose to implement as we have over 170 feature requests on our list so if more people will ask for this we will try to do it, until then if you need it we suggest to try to find a plugin for it.

I have had the idea while I was editing td_module_blog.php. I have changed the order of the existing share buttons according to the referer.
I will try it myself.

I think bringing in messenger app sharing options would make Newspaper very unique and a good option to potential buyers 🙂

@meringer Unfortunately yes, as I said before we do all best to please our clients but we can do them all and we try to select what would please the majority.

Hello everyone, I am also looking to add Whatsapp share button on my newspaper theme. But I want this button to be enabled for all devices like desktop and mobile phone. Because Whatsapp has released desktop version too. I hope you guys start working for the same as soon as possible.
