Hello,

I have created custom mobile templates for all the pages in my website (I have not installed or activated the mobile plugin) as show here: https://postimg.cc/R3BHrg0v

When I try to access the website from a smartphone and tablet it shows the correct custom mobile templates but when I zoom the browser window on my PC and laptop above 300% instead of showing the custom mobile templates it shows the default mobile template as shown in the screenshots bellow.

1. Browser Tab in 100% zoom

2. Browser Tab in 300% zoom

3. Browser Tab in 400% zoom

4. Browser Tab in 500% zoom

I have not been able to figure out what causes this problem.

Hello,

To test different sizes you have to use a tool to make them responsive, the settings do not work on Zoom, but on the browser’s dimensions -> https://i.imgur.com/EgXT6Sr.png -> https://amiresponsive.co.uk/

Thank you!

But creating a custom mobile template is supposed to work by showing this mobile template to all mobile devices. Why does my phone show the correct mobile template I created but the browser shows a different one when zoomed to a point that it simulates mobile dimensions?

Hello,

There is a difference between responsive and zoom. For example, when you zoom, it enlarges that area, it does not change the size of the site, in order to load the mobile page.
Basically, because responsive design is a web design/development approach, while the zoom is just a feature that might or might not be present in the massive set of tools, features, scripts, and assets that a responsive approach may include.

Thank you!
