The theme doesn’t control the security modules, they are controlled by your host. My advice is to look online for some tutorials regarding the steps you need to take in this regard. I suggest you also get in touch with your host provider on this as they may have some modules which need to be turned on when switching to ssl and they can offer you guidance/assistance on this.
