I’m new to Newspaper. This may be a dumb question, but where can we find support that describes all the elements offered in the TagDiv Composer? I’m trying to build a new page and understand what each of the elements is, how they’re supposed to work, etc. (all the extended/external/multipurpose shortcodes). But when I go to the documentation, I can’t find these descriptions. For example, Based on my experience with other themes (e.g. Elegant Theme’s Extra and Divi), I assume they exist. But where are they?

Sorry but we do not have a documentation describing each element in the tagdiv composer. The tagdiv composer is a live page builder though so you can test these elements rather easily and get a feel for what each one does.

Do you just drag them into the page on top of other elements? (I’m getting errors doing this)
Do you drag them into an empty row? I’m having problems with the Homepage Post extended shortcode. If I drag it into an empty row, the text falls below the pics.

You can drag them in any position possible, on top below, in existing rows,new rows, inner rows. There should be no problem in this matter
