I seem to have problem changing global font and there seems to be different places that font can be changed.

I’ve recorded a video. Please ignore the last 10 seconds of the video.

Hello,

You need to change the font from there, from Website manager. I think that issue is caused by the cache plugin, please clear the cache.
Also, you can try to check here the font https://i.imgur.com/RpmWM1A.png

Thank you!

Thanks, changing it at the style section works.

I am just curious why there are so many different places to change a font or font size.
For instance, changing the font size under theme panel doesn’t work at all, and I’d have to change it at the style section as per your screenshot.

Hello,

That option from the theme panel is for standard templates, and you are using a cloud template, which is why it is not applied. Also, you can check if you have the tagdiv Standard pack plugin activated; you can deactivate it.

Thank you!

Thanks for your video – it helped me find where to change the global font setting itself —
then as you place each element – you just select global font 1,2, or 3 – and that global font will change later – if you update the main global font setting.

Otherwise – as to why there are many places – – it appears that it is for the custom option of using different fonts where you want to use them – if not a global font.

Back to newspaper theme – left for a while.
The Global Font is meant just for the Font Family – – Wherein – for single post / home page, category layouts – – each separate content box has to have the font size, line height, and other 3-4 options selected per content area.

Am I correct on that?

Hi,

The global font option can be used for any font, whether it’s a Google Font or a custom font (https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/). This setting applies only to the font family. The font size, line height, and other typography settings must be configured manually for each element through the theme settings.

Thank you!
