I’ve been trying to locate where I can edit the bottom of the page on the Newspaper theme but I can’t seem to find which template to edit. There is a lot of CSS in that area and I’m trying to remove a part.
Where can I edit it?
I’ve already checked footer.php but it’s not there.

I want to remove some CSS at the bottom of the page globally. Right above <footer> there is jQuery and for some reason, style tags with a bunch of CSS. This is where I want to remove some of the CSS.

We do not recommend removing the theme css as it is needed for the proper functionality of the theme. In the future we will change the css implementation in our theme but for the time being we do not recommend altering the structure of the css

You could remove CSS from the theme stylesheet, that would be the theme stylesheet

There will also be generated CSS but you should not make any modifications to that sections

Make backups before modifying theme files to be safe in case something goes wrong.

That is a section of the theme panel, the theme has custom code fields where you can enter code safely and it will be saved in the database. It will not be lost after a theme update

So if you are looking for the Advanced CSS section it is in the theme panel.
So that area is blank.

It’s in the CSS file and raw HTML between style tags.
Also, assuming this isn’t a plugin, where can I find the code for banner ads that appear right below a featured image in a template?
Actually, I do not believe I’m seeing that menu. The most I see is Customize -> Additional CSS from the left-hand sidebar.
That class you mention is used in some header templates, it is set for the div containing the logo you set in the theme panel, like header style 1 for example

I know there is CSS for it in the style.css file, but there is more CSS for it right above the footer in the source HTML code. I’m looking for that location. I’ve already found the CSS from style.css. There is more that’s generated above the footer HTML.

That should not happen, since the class is used for the div in the header. If you could provide some examples of this, maybe I am misunderstanding something.

Under modules, all I’m finding is the td_module_single.php template via admin panel. Would I have to look for it via FTP and edit it there instead?
Not all files are accessible through the WordPress editor, it will require FTP to see them all, then make the modifications you want to the theme.
Regarding the CSS you mention, I seem to fail to understand what would be the issue with it. It would be helpful if you could provide a link to your website, so we can see it for ourselves.
