Where to set featured image placeholder

On the post settings page, sub featured image I can unable and disable a featured image placeholder.
But where can I set de image url for this placeholder?

In order to change these images, you will have to do it manually by creating a placeholder image and replacing these thumbnails: https://www.screencast.com/t/B1cSNNXPLv

You have to keep the file name and sizes intact for it to work properly.

Can this be applied to a child theme? Or upon every update of the theme do we need to replace the images once again?

Hi,

Sorry but this will not work from the child theme. You will have to re-apply the images after you update if you want to change the default implementation for the placeholders.

Hi,

You can do that in the theme panel block settings, there is an option for it now
– http://prntscr.com/nur4oo
So if the post has no featured image set, the image you set there will be used.
