Which Cache-plugin?

Hi!

I am almost done with my site and everything works perfect with this new theme except one thing.

With my previous theme I used W3Total Cache and it worked perfect. When I try to use it with this theme my posts dont updates as they should.. sometime it takes very long time and its frustrating because I have 5-6 posts every day. I have tried many different Cache-plugins and all with the same result. I have disabled other plugins as well… anyoone have a clue?

Actually WP3Cache messed things up a bit on my v2 install and not using it. Leaning toward using WP Super Cache since it’s made by Automattic (who make WP). On the other hand the horror stories on that include garbage collection deleting entire website not just cache files, etc. Some of the stupid things about W3 include this issue:

I’m doing tweaks to v3 now and will revisit cache plugin once there, but haven’t gotten to it yet. I keep wanting to have time to test Varnish on our server, but just no time to deal with another possibly server crippling adventure.

My actual problems with W3 only stemmed from fact that the install was “owned” by Apache and not the ftpuser, and hence it was impossible to delete stuff without using command line via shell. Ugh.

Anyway…. sorry. No help, right? I’ve not yet revisited caching with a plugin.
And so … I shall thus be quiet! 🙂

OH…did you increase the php memory limit on the site ?
128MB is a good place to start if your host allows that high a limit.

If you have a virtual server or dedicated server try even higher, like 256MB.

I will be retrying W3 cache soon. Not today 🙂

128MB increase in memory limit didn’t help.
Googling for other clues 🙂
