Most of the sites I design use a small tiled/repeating graphic as a background for texture. I’ve done this for years.
So why does Newspaper (and Newsmag, which I also own), default you to a boxed layout rather than full-width simply because I upload a graphic as a background? What could possibly be so challenging or prohibitive in terms of your theme coding that would require a boxed layout for a routine background image like mine? That really puts a cringe in my brow and limits what I want to accomplish with this theme.
I would rather not leave this as a negative review comment and hope to have it addressed here in the forums via support rather than it being reflected in my upcoming User Review.

Please note that we already overcame this in the current version of the theme. you can now have a full width header and footer with background. The options are found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Dd210InTXEaT
We will include these option in newsmag as well in the coming update.
