Why is tagdiv composer required?

I am running newspaper, however I do not have the plugin installed and it is working fine. Why does it say it is required?

can we build a static home page ( full 500 word content shown) and then show some categories / or posts below it

@pankaj221 You can create pages using the elements you like. There are text elements that you can use as well if you want to write content on pages

On pages you can use text elements, blocks, grids etc. These are all the available blocks and grids
