Normal function for WordPress for any ‘editor’ level user. However a ‘subscriber’ should not see the edit option unless you have changed user roles, or using some kind of visitor post app that might mess with that.

I don’t work here – just feedback as long time user/lurker 🙂

Hi, thanks! Here is the complete list of my plugins, can’t think of why any of them can cause this.

Thanks Chris! I think it could be the members plugin that messed up with my database:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/

Is there a way to restore the user role database for wordpress?

Thanks again!

ok, I’m very sure it’s caused by members plugin after a couple testing. Just wonder which file in the database I shall edit to restore the settings. Thanks so much!

Hello.

Before editing the dB, try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.

Thank you!

Thanks, Bogdan! Just wonder how to reset CDN files. Members plugin permanently changed the roles and capabilities settings and I just want to reset it the wordpress core settings. Thanks again!

Hi,

Maybe the plugin you mention can revert the changes made, check the plugin documentation. There could be a reset to default user role capabilities, in the users or members settings. These are the normal user roles of WordPress
https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
Or maybe try a different plugin to customize the existing user roles
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-user-roles-and-permissions/

Thanks
