Why my thumbnail picture is not resizing in the main page and in the post page?

Hi,

I am having a problem with my thumbnail picture where the featured image on my both thumbnail main page and post page is not resizing. If the image dimension is small in the thumbnail also it shows small. But I remember previously, it does auto resize to match the thumbnail box and also the post page. Can you guide me on how to fix this issue?
