Width of content area on posts

I wish to increase an post content size from 640 to 728px size for desktop version. Is it possible? I tried through css but can’t get it working…

I use Newspaper theme for the wider body content area.

I don’t personally have easy answer on this one, but maybe somebody else might.

Hi,

Unfortunately it’s not possible to change the width of the theme as is based on a custom grid system. To change the width of the site is needed to change the grid width and all components are based on that grid size.
This require a lot of changes and is not easily doable. If you don’t have developing skills I recommend to hire someone to make this job for you.

hi, i’m having this trouble, if you need to do the edit of changing 630px to 728px to contain 728×90 ads, how much would you charge? I am willing to make this changes as my earnings will increase if i implement this ads size. thanks

You would need to hire a developer to revamp the theme style sheets for you, which is NOT an easy task since all the elements are interdependent based on the grid system.
