Do you have a wildcard search option or advanced search box, to limit the search return results to a specific string in the forum. For instance, if I wanted to search on : the brown dog. What character do I need to use to get results that contain, the brown dog and not every one that just contains dog.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for that functionality, sorry! If you want to add it, you need to use such plugins for that. You can try it from here
