I’m in the process of changing my web url to a new one (and eventually delete old one) but I want to ensure the new one works well first before deleting old. Will the newspaper theme work on both in parallel? If not, will the license work on new URL at all (if I remove it from old) or does it require a new license for the URL. In other words, is it transferable?

Hi,
It will work, legally a theme can be installed and activated on a single end product (website) according to the Envato license terms
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
So if in the end you will be using the theme only on your final website, there would be no problem.
