I was testing a ‘Popular Now’ block to simply display 5 posts using ‘sort last 7 days’ from all categories. Nothing fancy.
— Yes, Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> 7 days post sorting is Enabled
— Yes, Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> Ajax post view count is Enabled
Yet the block renders empty, as per last block bottom right here: http://www.khaosodenglish.com/impact-journalism-day-2016/

Hi,
You will have to enable post views as well, not just the ajax views: http://screencast.com/t/eXQj0DNB
There cannot be any popular sorting option without any post views.
