I am getting a 500 error in Webmaster tools.

Googlebot couldn’t access the contents of this URL because the server had an internal error when trying to process the request. These errors tend to be with the server itself, not with the request. More info.

My site is now https://mydomain… Al redirects are correct.
What is causing this? Any help is appreciated.
likely somebody trying to access your theme folder directly which nobody should ever do unless trying to hack you; and sometimes you will see this from doing install or update to theme where temporarily while files are being moved around if Google pings your site they would end up following a temp redirect. You will then see this as a “one time” thing. Simply mark as fixed, and move on 🙂
