woff files – connection error

We use Newspaper and check speed with pingdom tools.
Everything runs fine, expet for 2 “Connection error”s.
newspaper.woff?15
newspaper.ttf?15
I checked both and they are in the folder and accessible (rights 664).
Social icons on our site are visible.

Hi,

That would indeed be the font used by the theme for various icons and elements. I would have no idea why the test detects connection errors since they load properly for you. There would be no reason to worry about it.

Today I see instead of the Social Icons chines signs and the symbol for search is gone.
What can we do?
