WordPress 4.6 compability

Hi.

I know you don’t support beta, and this is not a supportrequest. I just want to know now where we’re a week away from WP 4.6 release. Have you experienced any issues with WP 4.6 RC1/2.

I’ve testet on my test environment, and haven’t found anything, but maybe you can confirm, that there should be no issues upgrading to 4.6 when released.

Today is WordPress 4.6 day.

Is it safe to update WordPress ?

Working for me, including with the beta composer plugin 🙂

REMINDER: always make BACKUP of your dbase BEFORE any major updates to WP — as it clearly states when doing update to ANY major “dot” version of WordPress. Doing an ‘export’ from tools is a “Plan C” level backup. A “Plan B” level backup is making a dump from MySQL with phpMyadmin from your hosting panel. A “Plan A” backup is using DUPLICATOR, and making full snapshot of website (but remembering to remove the backup once done).

Note also not all plugins may work with WP dot upgrades, not part of theme. Useful to go look on the support forum for those that you use, for each plugin first. A 3 year old plugin not updated for WP 4x might stop working at any time.

I did the update yesterday, and have experienced som issues if you create two posts right after each other. But whether it was a “user mistake” or a “core error”. Don’t know yet.

We made some preliminary tests with WordPress 4.6 and the theme works fine. However we still need to run some more tests to check if the theme is fully compatible with new wp version.
