I would like to find out if the newspaper theme version 12.6.6 is compatible with WordPress sticky post as our client would like to pin a specific post to the home page of his site.
If you have any possible solutions or ideas on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you it will work is it possible to have the other 3 posts stil pull through on there publishing date by using the same grid?

No, you can set the post id and have another filter. You need to have two blocks, one with the post ID and the other one with another filter type.
