I have spent hours building my site and then all of a sudden, lost everything I built as well as the theme itself was randomly uninstalled to another theme I know I’ve never installed. How do I backup my WP site and how do I keep what I have created in place?

We recommend using an automatic backup plugin like UpdraftPLus. If you prefer doing the backup manually, you can follow the WordPress guide: https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-backups/
We always recommend regular backups and updates of the theme. Do not use some untested plugins with our theme in order to avoid a plugin conflict.
