wp-content/theme is missing

Dear TagDiv team,
I purchased Newspaper theme 2 days ago. when i unzip Newspaper.zip i dont see wp-content/theme folder. And also things like wp-includes folder and wp-configure are not there. i tried to downlaod many time using different web browsers. In all cases wp-content/theme is missing.
Plz help me.

There are two zip files on Themeforest;

one is the “all files” which has all of the docs, psd files, plugins. This “big zip” also has the Newspaper.zip file inside which needs to be unzipped.

The other zip file download on themeforest is just the theme.

You upload the theme folder “Newspaper” to your website/wp-content/themes folder.

Why I don’t see wp-config-sample.php file? Is Newspaper theme quite different from others?
I previously easily installed another Themeforest wp premium theme [Charity Hub]. Newspaper theme content appears to be quite different to me.

wp-config-sample.php is not a part of newspaper theme and its one of the core file for wordpress CMS.

Probably a good idea to refresh yourself on what files are part of WordPress and not part of themes – will help avoid confusion down the road 🙂

You are helping me a lot. Many thanks for that.
Unfortunately i haven’t got a solution for the problem.

I managed to upload the theme via another domain wp dashboard.It worked. But i haven’t activated it. cos i don’t want to put it there. Newspaper theme is meant for another domain.
I tried to upload it via ftp. i put the file in public_html [wp-content/teheme]. when i try to go live, i see nothing.

i cant access or create wp login. http://www.awashpost.com/wp-admin.php returns 403 error.
i also tried http://www.awashpost.com/public_html… i get nowhere.

Can you plz solve this mystery? I want to know how to get to wp login so that i can upload the theme from there.
