Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme, 11.5.1
Also, please deactivate, delete and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/OrzLvR2j and clear all cache.

After doing some more testing I deployed a new site and tested your suggestions. This did not resolve the issue. The issue I found was actually the WP plugin “Page Links To” Version 3.3.6 | By Mark Jaquith. We use this plugin for changing a post/page to link to any URL we need instead of the actual post/page on WP.
Since this plugin is conflicting with the Newspaper theme. Any suggestions on a similar plugin that does work? Please advise.
