Hi,
Please update the tagDiv composer as well, if you did not already. Also if you by any change changed the theme name or you are using a child theme with a custom name, change them to default. Then check the results.

Have same issue here on Newspaper 8.7 (after update from 8.5). Will try the update of td-composer. Anything else I need to update except theme files?

What about Multipurpose plugin. Is multipurpose plugin is a must-install plugin? (mandatory?)
The multi-purpose plugin is optional. When installed it will add more elements in the tagDiv composer
