Hi, after the update (9./), only one thing doesn’t work anymore.
If the WPBakery Page Builder is used to create a single image, the settings for the size of the image no longer work. It will be truncated and displayed in full size.
I mean these settings:
Enter image size (Example: “thumbnail”, “medium”, “large”, “full” or other sizes defined by theme). Alternatively enter size in pixels (Example: 200×100 (Width x Height)).
In all cases I use “full” and the pic fits to the column.
The problem used to exist, but only if the TagDiv Composer was activated in addition to the WPBakery Page Builder. Then I just turned off the TagDiv Composer and the problems were gone. Now the TagDiv Composer has to be activated additionally. What can I do now?
Thanks, genloc
Hi,
The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the customers that use WP Bakery Page Builder with our Theme:
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Single image elements work differently in each of the builders, but they use the same shortcode. So there will be design loaded from each builder resulting in a conflict.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
This problem is note on our issues list, and in coming updates will be solved.
Here is a quick fix, you need to replace the tdc_map.php from wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_map.php https://www.screencast.com/t/y18ntAOdrjS5 with the tdc_map.php from below link.
