Hello,
I’m running Newspaper 3.8.3. Today, I got the usual plugin update alert on my dashboard. Once again, for WPBakery Visual Composer, version 4.2.1.
What do I have to do? Waiting for the new Newapaper release to fix this? I think this situation is getting irritating, and making this theme not so reliable.

There is something really wrong with this theme,VC was back to the latest version after the last theme update and work fine for few days,now i go in my admin panel VC is back to the old version and asking to update it to the new version,for god seek please fixed this VC,this theme giving me headache and getting on my nerves,it seem since i bought this theme all i get is issues all the time, when it’s not a VC issue it’s a postview issue are some other issue,come on now this theme cost a lot of money so it should be stable and not always with some issue.grrrrr

Yes, please update! It looks like there are many key changes in this 4.2 version, chief among them being the fact that it will enable update via admin panel in the future, which I guess means we won’t have to ask again 🙂

It’s ok, we should support these people as they really work hard to keep this theme well coded and designed.
And I request theme developers to fix bugs as they appear.
I agree with chitranjanbaghi – the support for this theme is great and they really are hard working. I for one appreciate their efforts, and as a web developer myself I know how tricky it can be to code at this level of complexity.
WP 3.9 and the move to make the theme composer separate element (per everybody’s request) has introduced some minor issues. Thanks for keeping working on this stuff Radu and co!!
