Wrong behaviour on Authors Box when sort is random and limit the authors?

I think that Authors Box it’s not working as expected when “Sort authors by” is set to random and a value is set for the “Limit the authors” filter.

For example, if “Limit the authors” is set to 3:

Current:

3rd first authors in alphabetical order are sorted randomly

Expected:

3 authors sorted randomly

I do not think so. The box only ever randomizes the first 3 authors and should show 3 authors randomly.

For example:
Authors: A, B, C, D, E
Current: A,C,B – A,B,C – C,B,A
Expected: A,E,B – A,C,B – E,B,A
