Wrong category is displayed

Hello,

I have assigned two categories to an article. Economy as a primary category, politics as a secondary. However, Politics is displayed as a category on the blog’s homepage.

If you click on the article, you end up in the category economy.

I am having the same issue. I have a article under multiple categories. I have set one category as the primary. However, this is not taken affect in the breadcrumbs as well.

Say the article name is “All about tomatoes” which is assigned to “Fruits” and also “Vegetables” category. I have selected “Fruits” as the primary category.

But the breadcrumb reads “Home > Vegetables > All about tomatoes” instead of “Home > Fruits > All about tomatoes”

It seems like WordPress is not taking the “Make primary” into count.

Any help with our problem is appreciated guys.

Hi,

Please make sure you are setting the primary category with theme option, not the Yoast plugin option

I have tested the feature and it works properly, so there should not be any issues for you as well.
