Wrong Counting of posts

Hi,

on my front page I want 10 posts, but it shows only 8.

I adjusted the number “10” in the WordPress settings AND in the page settings for my static front page. But it remains on 8 posts. What the heck is wrong?

In The categorys its correct.

You can set number of post displayed in latest article section from post loop settings: http://screencast.com/t/F1yNURYOUU also must be set under Settings > Readings http://screencast.com/t/MZmAfokFWmmg Make sure you clear the cache and test again.

Thats exactly what I did. Still there are only 8 Posts. :-/

This may not be your issue, but had this happen to me …

had 10 items in category, put 10 items from cat on home page, had “don’t show duplicates” turned on, 2 were in featured block at top, so didn’t appear in the category with 10 items, so only showed 8.

Might not be your issue, but that one threw me off for a while and went … duh.
