Hi, curious if this is a known issue or not. ‘and if it’s more a matter of the coding within Newspaper or something on Twitter’s end.
When sharing one of my pages to Twitter, the ‘Via’ so and so shows up on the tweet. Thing is, it’s using the first part of my site’s name which is actually someone else’s handle.
It’s like this: Let’s say my site’s name is ‘New Life Together’
Well, when tweeting, the result will include ‘ Via @New ‘ which is someone else’s handle. Follow?
I’m guessing that the process is taking my site’s name as it appears in WordPress General Settings? Or am I wrong?
Any suggestions for this? Aside from just eliminating your share buttons and using a plugin’s share buttons. Which, mind you, works the way I want it to.
Hi,
Indeed there ( via @ ) should appear the blog/website info, please check this similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/remove-via-from-twitter-shares/
Thank you!
What am I doing wrong here. I don’t see that in Theme Panel > Post Settings.
I see no sharing option. Has it moved?
