We recently installed Newspaper theme and not all of our stories are appearing with the wrong description on google.
Pls check the screenshot and request to help us on this.

For a better control over the meta description you can use the Yoast SEO plugin -> https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/ also you could try to request Google to recrawl and reindex your URL

we are already using yoast plugin. This is impacting our presence in Google and traffic.
Hi,
Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins and Yoast SEO, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and make a post and check how this will be index by Google.
