Hi,
I’m using a default gallery (not TagDiv Slide Gallery) in this post:
http://harodigital.com/noticias/la-cata-mas-multitudinaria/
The issue is that images shown are a cropped version (1068×580) instead of the full size version (or any I want). here you can see settings and how are displayed images:
How can I set a full size for images?
Thanks
Hello,
Well the images are already taking up the full size of the container. The container sizes are as follows:
If you use a sidebar the maximum content width is 696 pixels. So an image will not be able to go further than 696 px.
If you do not use a sidebar, the content are is 1068 px. Your images are exactly 1068 pixels, thus making them the biggest possible size they can be inside the post content. There is no way of making them any bigger.
Thank you!
Imagine my image is vertical: I upload a 1200×2000 image for example. I understand image being resized at 1068×1780 but not being cut at 1068×580. I want my gallery photos one below the other without being cut. I understand being cut in case I use Tagdiv Slide Gallery but not the builtin WordPress gallery
Hello,
The theme will add a thumbnail of 1068 x 580 pixels. if you do not want this thumb to be available, simply turn off the thumbnail from the theme pane-> block setting sand regenerate thumbs after: http://screencast.com/t/g8AJyhbyW
Thank you!
I think it should be a better alternative, but OK, I’ve done what you say and now works fine. Thanks
is there a way to avoid de lightbox in galleries? If I set not to have a link, the theme includes an anchor.

Hi again. I’ve deleted 1068×580 thumbnail and galleries work fine, they are not cropped, but now (obviously) I cannot use the 3 cols IOS slider, for example for my homepage, because 3 cols IOS slider needs that size. So, it is not possible to use the 3 cols IOS slider and also use a normal wp gallery without having to crop the gallery images? It’s quite weird thing. Any hack to avoid this in a hook or filter?

Hi,
It seems they use the same thumb. The ios slider needs the thumb active in order to display properly. This complicates things a bit as you cannot use the theme panel now to remove the thumb from galleries. Our theme uses the same thumb for both elements. Try to change this value to 1068×0 http://screencast.com/t/mG51pBR6QN And test again with the gallery and the slider.
Thank you!
