Hi
I noticed that the url of the related articles have the wrong category.
the final title url of the related posts are correct, but not categories
that instead remain those of the main post.
worpress then makes sure that however items are reached,
but from an SEO point of view I do not think this is good.
How to solve?
Thanks
Hi, some solution?
I summarize the problem:
in same posts (not in all) within a post
site.com/post-category/post-title/
related articles have as url
site.com/post-category/related-post-title/
and not
site.com/related-post-category/related-post-title/
so also
next.prev are
site.com/post-category/next.prev-post-title/
and not
site.com/next.prev-category/next.prev-post-title/
same for the url of the widget. exact title url but the same category of post
Thanks!
Hi,
I can see the issue on your site, but not on my end. In our demo the category is not specified in the permalink structure so I cannot give you an example from there but I tested this on my end. i could not find any issues with it. The permalink structure remains the same and the correct category is being grabbed both for the related articles and the next/prev posts. http://screencast.com/t/WTpTuYh6 – http://screencast.com/t/jWuqabiTadthe correct category is displayed and so is the case for the next prev posts. (latest version installed)
Please try to disable all plugins excepot visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict. Also if you have a custom permalink structure, try to re-save them and check the result.
I;m not sure why you are getting this, but you can also test with a brand new category and a few posts added to it to see if the problem is still there.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
1) I tried to disable plug in one at a time, eliminating cloudflare and cleaning the cache error remains …
2) I tried to make a new article in a new category – error remains
3) I tried to re-save old category – error remains
3) I tried to re-save custom permalink (/% category% /% postname% /) – error remains
4) I tried to do new article without category – error disappears
Do you have any suggestions to try again?
Thanks

The same to me…
I tried to re-save custom permalink (/%category%/%postname%/) – error: Page and category page not found
I tried to do new article without category – error disappears
Setting /%category%/%postname%/ – Page and category page not found
In my opinion there is problem with category page and the category page is the reason of “page not found”. How to resolve the problem?
Hi,
The error mentioned above comes from seo yoast, not our theme. Yoast was updated a few days ago so try to update it and see if the issue is still there. Here is another mention of this:
