After the latest update, it’s not possible to change settings in the category sections. I’ve found it out after trying to add a custom sidebar – it doesn’t work anymore.
The problem occurs only at newly added categories. I still can change the setting at the older categories.
Not having this issue, so no idea. Wait for Lucian to be back on Monday, as he may have suggestion. First option is usually turn off any oddball plugins to see if messing with stuff or try re-uploading the theme files manually via FTP to ensure nothing got crunched (I’ve had this happen with the zip installer via WordPress panel… so now I only trust FTP upload!)
Thanks for your input, Chris. I’m normally uploading my theme via ftp. It’s weird because this problem started with 4.2. I will try to disable plugins even though I’m only using “big” plugins like W3Cache, WPSeo or Jetpack.
Hmm, after disabling all plugin this problem still seems to be present. Lucian, have you ever heard of something like this?
