Featured video – is it possible to add some of the embed commands such as not showing related or suggested videos at the end of a video.
I really don’t want to have a bunch of random YouTube videos showing on my site that have nothing to do with the story or post I’m promoting.

Unfortunately the featured video does not allow embed options. What you can do is embed your video in the post and set the featured image manually. Then you can control the embed code and you could even use an embed plugin in order to have more control over your content.

Just tried to embed the video in my post:
Method 1 – pasted the link, set the featured image, removed video link from featured video.
Method 2 – pasted the embed code in the post, same as above.
Both methods didn’t work as method 1 showed suggested videos and method two just showed the code:

Although Now I’m updating it to the featured video so that it will display appropriately, as I used post template style 10 originally and just switched to 9.
One more issue is that the default featured image it creates after setting a featured video has never been a useable featured image. It’s always been a doubled image.

These are the embed options i was talking about in my other reply.
“To hide the related videos from appearing after the video is done:

$rel=0 is the key.

Hi. Has something changed since this post? It´s a real pity not being able of passing some options to Youtube for featured video.
