Youtube Automatic Embeds No Longer Working in Posts

Hello for some reason with this theme specifically, I believe, when I paste plain Youtube links into posts e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id normally it converts that automatically to a Youtube embed video – a standard feature of WordPress. This doesn’t seem to happen anymore using Newspaper theme.

Hi,

This option is still working -> https://i.imgur.com/5kFSHti.png just make sure that the link that you past inside the post is public and valid, also make sure that you do not have plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.

Hi Calin. Embedding YouTube is no longer working on my site as well. Please see the following video showing the problem. https://www.loom.com/share/c74dccd8e28e4bcf9a53c1f3f6d4366b

None of our plugins have changed and YouTube embeds were working previously, so this is not likely to be a plugin conflict.

Please try with a different browser like Chrome or Firefox, for me on chrome it is working like a charm-> https://i.imgur.com/u4qLIhz.png
