YouTube code showing up on flexbox

For some reason in the excerpt area of the flex box it is showing the YouTube embed code.

Ok… so the excerpt is being picked up from the content, there is no excerpt override.

I understand how to limit the length of the title and excerpt by limiting letters or words, what I don’t understand is why it is showing an embedded YouTube code within that space. If the embed link is the first thing in the post then it’s going to show the url.
