Youtube Embed Problem

Case 1: If I just embed the Youtube video using the embed code it works fine all the controls show etc. however I don’t want to see this. As you see the youtube link is appearing and I don’t want that.

Case 2: If I used a shortcodes plugin and insert the Youtube Video that way the link on posts doesn’t appear the above problem is solved but there is another problem. It looks like the template itself has a set size for youtube videos and this happens. Here it is:

Normal solution is to put some text in the “excerpt box” … if there is no text on the actual post.

Oh yeah I saw that but how do I make it without having to manually add an excerpt?

Hi,

As Christopher suggested you can use the excerpt filed to manually add excerpt for those posts that have the issue you’ve described.
We also know about this issue, we have it on our todo list and we still try to find a better implementation for it in future versions.
