YouTube Video not working

I have a YouTube video I want to embed into the site I am building.

The video link is: https://www.youtube.com/embed/rOkH7LCFCwA

On my site I have selected the default post, video format and put in the URL. But on the front end it does not show a thumbnail and does not play the video.

If you try to to play the video you get an error: An Error occurred. Please try again later.

But the video link clearly works on it’s own.

Can you advise what is going wrong?

I would rather not post the link to my site but can email this to you.

I have noticed that your video URL is not good. Try to add this URL -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOkH7LCFCwA for your video and check the results.

That has fixed it – thank you!
I had assumed I had to use an embed URL!
