YouTube video

Hi,

On my page http://www.modburyteam.org/rtr, I have added a video element and have inserted the url link to the youtube video.

However, when i look at the page, it is displaying a link to an event that is happening this evening, rather than the video. Can you advise what i have done wrong please?

Hi

i’ve checked your site and couldn’t find any video element. Have you tried to use video player block to add the video on the page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNdeLSKSZ1M ? Try to add the method indicated in my screen then test the page again.

Hi

On the page http://www.modburyteam.org/rtr there is a block on the right hand side that has the heading: Watch the work as it progresses. This is a Video block. The url for the link I have put in is

I have also tried: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67tuMRw4k0s

However it is bringing up an event from our Calendar and I cannot see where I have gone wrong

Hello aph100,

I have checked your source page and I didn’t find your URL link for your video. I have noticed that you are using some untested plugins, like as Event Calendar, the plugin which is not tested with our theme and might cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to create a new blank page and add your video link there and see how it work. I have tested on my side to add that link and works as properly. Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for untested plugins, sorry!
