Hi Catalin,

The catch here is I am not using the above divs for excluding ads, but for excluding contents. For instance, Parts of custom Code added in the template, so can not disable anything from Theme Panel.

Category Pages not generating Properly - reply

So this was my approach to debug it.

1) I renamed plugins folder to disable all the add-ons. — Result No Success
2) Then I tried to save the permanent links settings in setting tab again — Result No Success
3) Next I tried to revert to a basic theme and verified —- Result – Category pages were working
4) Reuploaded the Newspaper theme. Result – issue fixed.
