I received a private email from the support, the problem was not solved, but I was offered an alternative solution

I hope that issue, will be solve in a proximate release

Hi,
i have a problem similar to that

In Newspaper > Theme Panel
In Footer > Footer Page ( or in Post settings > Post template and so on … )

I have set a Page (‘footer’ create with tagdiv composer in Page section) as footer page, and when i go to an article for edit, the settings reset

Another problem is that i can’t set the Post Template for the translated Page
This problem makes the functionality of the Theme unusable for translated articles with WPML
