Scratch that, in fact it was a ModSecurity issue. I got a tech support person at my hosting service to WhiteList the file with the problem and voila problem solved. Thanks!

How do I do this?

Also, is there a way to edit the things in the Theme Panel any other place than in the Theme Panel? Is there a way to edit them from the my hosting file manager?

I talked to the hosting, and they say they don’t think it’s a ModSecurity issue. Is there anything else that could be causing this problem?

I brought that up with my web host today on the phone, and they said I’d have to edit my htaccess file myself? What do I need to do?

Also relevant, I have a subdomain that has the same theme, same plugins, has not been upgraded to https, and works just fine.
