Hi there Calin,
How are you?
In the latest release we cannot find the js_composer ZIP in order to update WP Bakery plugin. We did it in the past by following these instructions: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
What steps should we follow now?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there Calin!
How are you?
Since WPBakery is updated to the latest version. Should we disable tagDiv Composer to avoid problems? Is it a good practice?
Thanks a lot.
Hi again Calin,
What about security? Even after upgrading to Newspaper X (following your steps), WP says we are still using WP Bakery 5.2.1 while the latest and updated version is 6.1.
Our main objective while upgrading is to improve security and solve that issues using theme’s latest version available.
May we rest thinking our site is safe and all plugins are up-to-date with Newspaper X?
Thanks.

Hi Calin,
I understand. Is there anywhere where we can see the main differences among tagDiv Composer and WPBakery?
Is there any way to migrate the site content from WPBakery to tagDiv composer?
Our users are not experts usually, so we have to explain them what to use and what to avoid. Specially in this case it seems really important.
Hi Calin,
Understood. Does it make more sense to keep using WPBakery as they were using previously instead of mixing them in the site?
Is there any way to disable tagDiv Composer (to avoid confusion) and keep the site layout working?
Thanks!
Yes! thanks. It looks better now.
I assume we are using WPBakery from Newspaper 8. Right?
– Should we disable tagDiv Cloud library? it is enabled and we haven’t faced any issues yet.
– In the new pages we will be using WPBakery or tagDiv Composer? what would be the best combination?
Thanks for your patience and help.
