Yes, you can see from your picture that the mouseover says Twitter, not X, so its all these instances that needs to be updated as well.

In the Newspaper theme, under Row > Column, Social Icons, it is still termed as Twitter, appreciate if it can be updated and have the codes all checked for instances of “Twitter” and change them to “X”, this is important as its driving SEO engines crazy, I kept receiving errors on social media links…

Hi Calin, yes, the api is working and the link by clicking the box is working, however, the subscriber number remains inaccurate, it is displaying 0 if I leave the fixed number empty. I really do not wish to be updating it manually daily.
