Thanks, it’s working, it was the AND symbol in the sidebar’s name that was causing the issue.

Pretty weird that the theme let us use forbidden chars in the sidebar names though.

I just can’t believe such a basic function isn’t built into the theme.

Honestly WHO wants to display the current post in the sidebar when the current post is being viewed, that’s just broken by design.

Hopefully this will get fixed very soon, because it’s not just a “nice to have”, it’s a bug.
