Still waiting for the SERP to update- SERP says 21, Modified is 28th.
Going back to this Facebook Post, it suggests a certain code that needs to be added to get this configured:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/z8urbndL
The specific sections states:
You can see my code here. This is the correct code. This is not in my header – this is inline with my date on my page.
<time class=”entry-time” datetime=”2021-07-16T23:47:34-04:00″ itemprop=”dateModified”> July 16, 2021</time>
Thoughts? Thanks.
I edited the tagdiv template I use and removed that date, leaving only the modified date. Is that what you meant? Now it only shows modified date:

I submitted it for reindexing.
Would a developer be able to modify these alt tags? Any resources for doing that?
I really think this is a pretty high-importance development requirement. Many, many people use page builders like Thrive.
And I know, from searching through the forums and online, there are lot of people encountering this issue.
If I had known this was going to be an issue, I might not have used Newspaper to begin with- I’m locked out of about 1/2 the content on my website
Deactivating tagdiv composer breaks the homepage, so I really can’t use that method.
1. Is there really no other way or workaround I can try? My content is basically locked at this point.
2. Would it be possible for a third party developer to resolve this issue? Is it a complex fix?
I’m not asking you to support Thrive, obviously.
I’m trying to figure out how I can edit Thrive created content given that I have switched to Newspaper and it seems the theme prevents me from being able to edit.
OK, I’ll try that out.
Can you respond to this:
4. Another issue- discovered that Thrive Architect created content can’t be edited since I installed Newspaper. Video of issue:

This one is kind of urgent as I have a bunch of pages with broken Thrive formatting that I can’t seem to fix.
1. OK- managed to fix that.
2. OK

Would like to remove page title from it.

1. The annoying feature is having an imaginary sidebar dividing the Visual Editor for no logical reason.
2. Yeah, I know, the Instagram widget can appear in the sidebar- I was looking for a way to display it in a post without having to use a page builder.
1. So I basically have to hire a developer to remove this annoying feature.
2. There’s no other way to add these Instagram widgets on page except by page builder? I’ve moved away from all page builders for a variety of reasons- basically, they are more trouble than they’re worth, and often prevent ads from displaying correctly. There’s no shortcode or anything I can use?
Never mind, it was some issue with SiteGround.
