So is it possible to show an avatar with username (just like in this forum) in the nav bar?
cheers

So the demo button was made this way?
Because I can add the button this way but obviously once logged in it still shows the login button. There would likely have to be something else that querys weather the user is logged in or not and then the profile to display.

Also, when viewing the menu within the mobile responsive view, the “td-menu-login-section” has a link to the logged in users profile like follows:
http://url.com/author/admin/
Buddypress adds the profile link to
http://url.com/members/admin/profile/

What would be the correct way to implement this change?

And lastly, if I wanted to add bbpress forums with catagories to a megamenu how can I achieve this?
As always, thank you.

Would modifying the style.bbpress.css directly, and keeping an up to date backup which would be restored after a theme update, be the right way to go?

If you’re using the child theme, swap to the parent to make changes. You should be able to save, then switch back to the child theme.
If you’re not using a child theme, check your file permissions.

can you provide more details on the error they’re seeing?

Appears that this was related to the child-theme. Once I changed to the parent theme, the color settings work fine.
