I am a novice,as I am sure you can see. I was using the wrong term with line break. My editor won’t wrap. I may try installing a fresh copy of wordpress. I will also try your suggestions. If I cannot fix this today, I will make the site public so it can be seen on Monday. I can also provide login info privately.

No matter what I type or how I type it, it publishes on one line. If I cut and paste from another source it will publish that text correctly, but any text typed into the editor stays on one line forever.

Spaces should have no effect on the text going to the next line. Text isn’t meant to run off the page.

I am using the standard text editor. It runs forever on one line in the editor as well.

I deactivated all plugins and that was no help.

I will be happy to give sign in info if someone is willing to look at this. The site is useless as is. It is impossible to post new entries. I appreciate any help I can get. The site is currenly set to private so a link here won’t help.

Like I said, I switched the theme and the problem went away. I did a lot of work to make this site look nice on this Newsmag theme. It would be a shame to have to start over. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I am surprised this is made so complicated. The theme we are upgrading from is 5 years old and it has these features on the profile page. The site looks terrible of course but it has the features. I would expect a new theme designed for multiple authors to have a decent profile page set up. I guess I will need to hire a programmer. Thanks.

I would like the Author profile to list where the author is located. What region they are in.

Is there anything I can do to get total post views? It seems to be a realistic request. Thanks.
